Andrew D. Scott Jr.
Andrew D. Scott Jr. is a litigation associate handling matters involving business disputes, commercial litigation, personal injury, product liability, and foreclosure and collection.
Mr. Scott earned his law degree from the University of Florida, where he graduated cum laude. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Scott graduated with his bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in business from the University of Florida. In college, Mr. Scott participated in the Jacksonville Collegiate Leadership Program.
Before joining Murphy & Anderson, Mr. Scott’s work experience included a position as an attorney with the firm of Smith Hulsey & Busey. While in law school, Mr. Scott completed a judicial externship with the Honorable Daniel F. Wilensky at the 4th Judicial Circuit in Clay County. Mr. Scott is actively involved in the Jacksonville Bar Association and currently serves on the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers Section.
Mr. Scott was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from the International Baccalaureate program at the Stanton College Preparatory School. He was a Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard for 7 years and to date has volunteered over 1000 hours to the American Red Cross Volunteer Lifesaving Association. In his free time, he enjoys watching Gator and Jaguar football, going to the beach, and playing basketball.
