Matthew B. Baggett

Matthew Baggett is a senior litigation associate licensed to practice law in both Florida and Georgia and all federal district courts in Florida. Mr. Baggett possesses a broad range of experience in large and complex business disputes, personal injury and product liability cases, securities cases, real estate litigation, and municipal claims (civil rights, property takings, and general negligence cases).

Mr. Baggett was born in Jacksonville. He attended the University of Florida, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, With Honors. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Baggett was awarded a congressional internship in Washington D.C. with Florida Senator Bob Graham and Congresswoman Karen Thurman. Mr. Baggett went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law. There, Mr. Baggett's strong oral advocacy skills earned him a place on the Mock Trial Team and first place at the 2003 Wayne Hogan Trial Competition. He was also an active member of the FSU Business Review.

After law school, Mr. Baggett joined the prominent Jacksonville law firm, Rogers Towers, P.A. He joined Murphy & Anderson in June of 2008, where he focuses on large business, personal injury and product liability litigation, as well as municipal tort claims, fraud, securities, and bank litigation.

Mr. Baggett was selected as Rising Star in 2009, 2010 and 2011 by Florida Super Lawyers magazine.
