Michael A. Mullavey
Michael A. Mullavey is a litigation associate handling matters involving business disputes, commercial litigation, foreclosure and collection matters, securities disputes, personal injury and product liability matters, and construction litigation.
Mr. Mullavey earned both his law degree and his MBA from the University of Florida, where he served as Vice President of the Business Law Moot Court and General Editor of the Florida Journal of International Law. While in law school, Mr. Mullavey was a member of the Dean’s List and received the Book Award as the best student in International Financial Crimes. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Mullavey graduated with his bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from Emory University, where he was captain of the varsity golf team.
Before joining Murphy and Anderson in 2016, Mr. Mullavey’s work experience included a position as a summer associate with the Boston office of Tentindo, Kendall, Canniff & Keefe LLP. While attending law school, Mr. Mullavey worked for the office of the general counsel for UF Health and the Shands Hospital network where he gained experience related to the formation of and strategic planning for healthcare entities. Mr. Mullavey also worked in the Office of the Vice President and General Counsel for the University of Florida in the areas of labor and employment, civil rights, and public agency law.
Mr. Mullavey was born in Dunstable, Massachusetts. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, weightlifting and reading.
